親愛的家長、老師和志工們，大家好!
上週的校園充滿歡樂與活力。看到同學們在期末考後，興高采烈地拿著獎勵券兌換自己喜愛的獎品，臉上洋溢著滿足與喜悅的笑容，令人倍感欣慰。
本學年的教師培訓也在上週圓滿畫下句點，感恩所有老師們一年來的用心投入與持續精進，共同為孩子們打造優質的學習環境。
中午舉行的謝志工宴更是溫馨感人。志工們齊聚一堂，在享用美味佳餚的同時，也分享著一年來在學校服務的點點滴滴與感動故事。感恩每一位志工無私的付出與陪伴，因為有大家的用心奉獻，才能成就如此溫暖且充滿愛的校園大家庭。
本週的畢結業典禮將在禮堂舉行，請大家提早９點前到校，同時幼幼班到二年級的同學請在9:00am進場，第二場的三年級到十年級請10:30am入場。家長請到二樓觀禮。由於今年的獎項非常多，所以改採依班級上台領獎方式。第二場預計在12:30-1pm結束，請家長們讓孩子全程參加典禮，不要提早離開。
＊慈濟大愛幼兒園將於 6 月 20 日上午 10 點至下午 1 點 舉辦 開放日暨家庭同樂日。當天我們會一起慶祝 端午節 與 父親節，活動內容包含親子互動遊戲、教室參觀，以及讓家長更深入了解幼兒園的機會。歡迎闔家蒞臨，一同共度美好時光！詳情請見海報。
＊TCYOLI 將於 6 月 21 日在 Merkin Concert Hall 舉辦年度音樂會，誠摯邀請大家蒞臨欣賞，為團員們加油鼓勵！活動詳情請參閱相關海報。
下週日是父親節，預祝所有的爸爸們父親節快樂。也祝大家有個健康及快樂的暑假。

1. 參加畢結業典禮表演的文化才藝班同學請記得要帶表演的道具/服裝，同時聽從老師的指示做最後的彩排。
2. 禮堂從7:30am開始佈置，請可以來幫忙的家長們提早到校幫忙。
3. 餐廳/體育館本週不開，請家長們參加孩子的畢結業典禮。

TCALI Weekly reminder for the 16th week(2S) 6/14 Graduation & Completion Ceremony -Dismissal at 1 PM
This week’s Jing Si Aphorism: One should recognize blessings, cherish blessings, and create more blessings.
Dear Parents, Teachers, and Volunteers,
Last week, our school campus was filled with joy and energy. It was heartwarming to see students excitedly redeeming their reward coupons for prizes they had been looking forward to after completing their final exams. The smiles of satisfaction and happiness on their faces were truly rewarding to witness.
Our teacher training program for this academic year also came to a successful conclusion last week. We are deeply grateful to all our teachers for their dedication, commitment, and continuous professional growth throughout the year. Their efforts have helped create a nurturing and high-quality learning environment for our students.
The Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon held at noon was especially warm and meaningful. Volunteers gathered to enjoy a delicious meal while sharing memorable experiences and touching stories from their service throughout the school year. We are sincerely thankful for the selfless dedication and companionship of every volunteer. It is through their generosity, care, and unwavering support that we can build such a warm, loving, and vibrant school community.
This week's Graduation and Completion Ceremony will be held in the auditorium. Please arrive at school before 9:00 AM.
To accommodate all students and families, the ceremony will be conducted in two sessions:
Session 1: Preschool through Grade 2 students should enter the auditorium at 9:00 AM.
Session 2: Grade 3 through Grade 10 (Graduation) students should enter the auditorium at 10:30 AM.
Parents are invited to observe the ceremony from the second floor. As there will be a large number of awards presented this year, students will be invited to the stage to receive their awards by class. The second session is expected to conclude between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM. We kindly ask parents to ensure that their children remain for the entire ceremony and refrain from leaving early so that all students can be recognized and celebrated together.
The Tzu Chi Great Love Preschool is having an Open House & Family Fun Day on June 20 from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM. We’ll be celebrating Dragon Boat Festival and Father’s Day, with activities for children and families, classroom tours, and an opportunity for parents to learn more about our preschool. Come and join us! Please check the poster for more information.
＊TCYOLI will be performing 13th Annual Concert at Merkin Concert Hall on June 21 – all are welcome to attend. For details, please refer to the event poster.
Here are this week’s other reminders:
1. Students participating in cultural class performances during the Graduation and Completion Ceremony are reminded to bring their performance props and costumes, and to follow their teachers' instructions during the final rehearsal.
2. Auditorium setup will begin at 7:30 AM. Parents who are available to help are warmly encouraged to arrive early and assist with the preparations.
3. The cafeteria and gymnasium will be closed this week. We encourage all parents to attend and enjoy their children's Graduation and Completion Ceremony.
4. Several parents have shared that their neighbors and friends would like to register for the Summer Camp. To accommodate additional families, we have extended the registration deadline. Students who have not yet registered for the Summer Camp, please sign up as soon as possible! Don't miss this opportunity, you'll have to wait another year if you miss it!

5. The first day of classes for the 2026–2027 school year will be September 13, 2026. A New Parent Orientation will be held on August 30, 2026, at 9:30 AM at the Tzu Chi Long Island Branch Office.
6. Tzu Chi Youth Orchestra Long Island(TCYOLI) is open for new enrollment for 2026-2027 season. Students who play string instruments (violin, viola, cello, or double bass) or woodwind instruments (flute, oboe, clarinet or bassoon) are welcome to apply. Please send your completed application form to [email protected]. Auditions will be held in the afternoon of June 28, 2026. 7. If your child is 13 years of age or older and is interested in joining the Tzu Shao (Tzu Chi Youth) Program, please register in the school lobby during the first or second week of the new school year 9/13 or 9/20. If you miss the registration period, you will need to wait until the following year to apply.
